"We don't just learn for our degree, but for our life".
We use precise processes for program design and approval. Students and external stakeholders are involved in program design. We interact with internal stakeholders (teachers, students and employees) and external stakeholder (donors, local authorities, professional bodies and agencies).
The policies provide:
- Targeting stakeholders to help Institution improvement;
- Persuading stakeholders ;
- Providing Incentives for stakeholders;
- Creating a feedback;
- Reporting on progress and thanking stakeholders for their contribution;
- Design more-effective outreach programs in the future.
The programs will be designed in a way that meets the expected learning objectives and outcomes. The formal process for approval of new/renewal course is a follows:
- faculty members shall propose a project of new course to the head of institution/board of directors;
- the head/board will review or approved it, confronting with the stakeholders;
- the College send the application of program accreditation to the Maltese Ministry (MFHEA);
- the new educational academic program can only start after accreditation by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education.
- the new educational short courses or introductory courses that do not grant an academic qualification are approved by resolution of the Governing Board.
The qualification resulting from a programs will be clearly specified and communicated and will refer to the correct level of the National Qualifications Framework for higher education and, consequently, to the Qualification Framework of the European Higher Education Area.
